Canyoning

Canyoning is an adventurous water sport, that is practiced in the mountain. It consists of descending the streams that flow in the rocky channels without the aid of canoes, kayaks or rafts. You descend on feet or with ropes that allow you to safely cross the most exposed parts.

Based on the conformation of the canyon it is possible to find long breathtaking slides, jumps into pools of crystalline water, abseiling along beautiful waterfalls. Strong emotions are guaranteed in environments where nature is extraordinary.

Kids and Teens Special

Bormio Mountain Guides will be happy to guide your children through some activities related to the Mountain’s world. All the safety and movement skills will be the core of a formative and very fun path.

Every Monday and Wednesday

Duration: 5:00pm – 7:00pm

Contribution: 5€ for 3 climbs

Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday

Duration: 2:00pm – 4:00pm 

Meeting: directly at the choosen crag. The Guides will give you the meeting point details. 

Price: 30€ per person (4 to 6 people per Guide). 

The price includes the Mountain Guide and the mountaineering equipment rental. Climbing shoes available for rental at Celso Sport shop in Bormio.

MTB & E-Bike

PERIOD: June – October

E-Bike or, for the most trained, MTB guided tours with an Instructor/Mountain Guide. Ride a bike to discover the most beautiful corners of the Stelvio National Park and the Alta Valtellina area. After the activity, only on booking, you could taste a delicious lunch in an exclusive private hut.

Alps & Apennines

For those who love to explore traveling, we propose some mountaineering, hiking and climbing outside Bormio area. We are ready to climb with you on the most beautiful Mountains of the Alps and the Apennines.

ROCK CLIMBING TRIAL FOR ADULTS AND TEENS.

A morning dedicated to those who want to experience the thrill of rock climbing. Recommended for ages 10 and up.

Duration: 2 hours (difficulty: easy)
Meeting: 9:30 a.m. c/o climbing crag
Price per person: 45€ per person (min. 2 people)

The price includes the ‘accompaniment of the Mountain Guide and the provision of helmet and harness. Possibility to rent climbing shoes at an agreed price.

TREKKING & YOGA

For the best start to the week! Step by step towards awareness, to find a new balance and lots of positive energy. Come discover with our guide the Asanas, Mudras, Pranayama and meditation: yoga is for everyone and is suitable for any body and any age.

Duration: 3 to 4 hours (easy difficulty)
Meeting: time and location will be provided at the time of registration.                                                                               Price: 30 € per person (min. 3 people)

The price includes the accompaniment of the Guide. Possibility to rent boots.

 

  • Every Tuesday

HIKE ON THE “EQUIPPED TRAIL” CAMPO DEI FIORI.

This is the most mountaineering trail in all of Bormio. It features exposed equipped sections on the Braulio gorges in a picturesque setting.

Duration: 5/6 hours (difficulty: medium)
Meeting: 8 a.m. c/o Bar Centro Sportivo (via Manzoni, 22 Bormio)
Price: 100€ per person (min. 2 people)

The price includes the ‘accompaniment of the Alpine Guide and the rental of harness and helmet. Does not include lunch. Possibility to rent boots at an agreed price.

ADVENTURE HIKES

In search of lost trails. In the Alta Valtellina area we will take you to discover the less traveled trails to rediscover the fascination of adventure.

Duration: 5/6 hours
Meeting: 09:00 a.m. (location will be indicated at registration)
Price: €35 per person (children 6/14 years old pay €15 if accompanied by 1 parent, min. 3 people)

The price includes the accompaniment of the Guide, does not include transportation to the starting point of the hike. Possibility of boot rental at an agreed price.

 

  • Every Wednesday

ADVENTURING – “CONTRABBANDIERI” EXPOSED PATH AND RAPPELLING. 

An adventure day. We will walk along the exciting path, used by the smugglers towards Switzerland. From the top we will rappel the rock wall with the rope until the starting point.

Time: 4 hours (medium) 
Meeting: 8.00 am at the cable car parking (Via Nazionale, Isolaccia-Valdidentro) 
Price: 100€ per person (min. 2 people)
 
The price includes the Mountain Guide and the mountain equipment rental. It does not include the transfer to the starting point on a toll road. Mountain boots are available for rental.
 

NATURALISTIC EXCURSIONS 

Discovering Stelvio National Park. Stelvio National Park offers incredible natural scenery where natural and man-made beauties meet. These hikes will allow you to discover, with the help of the attentive gaze of a naturalist, the traces left by the glaciers and the inhabitants of these mountains.

Duration: 5/6 hours (difficulty: easy)
Meeting point: 9 a.m. c/o Perego bus station, Bormio
Price: 35€ per person (children 6/14 years old pay 15€ if accompanied by at least 1 parent, min. 3 people)

The price includes the ‘accompaniment of the Guide, does not include transportation to the starting point of the hike. Possibility of boot rental at an agreed price.

 
 

FIRST STEPS ON THE GLACIER.

First experience in a glacial environment. Wearing harness and crampons, we will take our first steps on the glacier.

Duration: 4/6 hours (difficulty: medium/easy)
Meeting: 7 a.m.
Price: 110€ per person (min. 3 people)

The price includes the accompaniment of the Mountain Guide, provision of the harness and crampons. Possibility of boot rental at an agreed price. (Possible use of ski lifts/jeeps are the responsibility of participants).

Discovering the most beautiful corners of Valdidentro, on the paths of Val Viola, Val Lia, Valle di Cancano accompanied by those who live there all year round!

NATURAL HISTORY HIKES

Stelvio National Park as the custodian of incredible natural scenery where natural and man-made beauty meet. These hikes will allow you to discover the traces left by the glaciers, the inhabitants of these mountains and so much history that provides a precious backdrop.

HISTORICAL EXCURSION – Discovering the Great War. Heroic guys on these paths have written history. The Enemy is not only war but harsh winters and innumerable dangers of the Alpine environments. The Mountain is the precious custodian of their captivating and heroic stories: come and discover them with us.

Time: about 5/6 hours (medium – easy)

Indoor Climbing

All year long. Climbing lessons and training on the indoor wall of Valfurva. Ideal for adults and kids and for stretching muscles after a long active day.

We organize conventions climbing days for defined groups of over 10 people.

No problem! Bormio Mountain Guides are available to explain you all the right ways to move on the mountain’s terrains with the necessary awareness, safety and technique.

Stelvio National Park Photo Safari

The Stelvio National Park is a biodiversity paradise. There are many species of fauna and flora that make our region unmatched. Do not miss the opportunity to discover it in its most unusual corners, thanks to the experience of one of our Mountain Guides.

You will be lead by a Guide recognized by the National Park and also he will be a passionate photographer who will give you the best advices for a memorable shot.

PRICE: 250 € 1 person + 35 € each person more.
